N.Z. LAMB EXPORT.
PASSES 5,000.000 MARK. At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Meat Producers' Board in Wellington, the chairman (Mr. D. Jones) stated that during the season just closed the export of lambs from New Zealand for the first time exceeded 5,000,000. He referred to the steps which had been taken to advertise our produce in Great Britain. The exhibit at Wembley, he said, had been a valuable advertisement to New Zealand. Up to the present time 6000 lambs had been sent Home under the single carcase system, and many letters of appreciation of the quality ol our lamb had been received. The advertising of our produce by means of picture shows would no doubt also prove of great value.
