A sum of about £18,000 was left by the late Mr. F. W. Fischer, who for many years carried on a pawnbroking business in Wakefield Street. Deceased was born in South Australia. Mr. Paul Hansen has been appointed sole executor. Probate of the will has not yet been granted. Mr. Fischer left his house and furniture to his housekeeper, and the residue of his estate to his sister, who in Adelaide.
