A sum of about £18,000 was left by the late Mr. F. W. Fischer, who for many years carried on a pawnbroking business in Wakefield Street. Deceased was born in South Australia. Mr. Paul Hansen has been appointed sole executor. Probate of the will has not yet been granted. Mr. Fischer left his house and furniture to his housekeeper, and the residue of his estate to his sister, who in Adelaide. "It i impossible for anyone to see all there is to see at Norfolk Island on onu trip. A longer stay than three dajs is necessary." So said the Rev. Selwyn C. Burrow, who returned to Arskland by the steamer Hinemoa this morning. Mr. Burrow, who left Auckland on sick leave, spent a month at the icland. Norfolk, he said, was a grand place for a holiday. At the present time everything was quiet at Norfolk, which for the past three weeks had enjoyed sunny weather. The island boasted but one "motor car and one motor bike, said Mr. Burrow. and moving pictures were shown once a week. -'The inhabitants are very generous, and make the visitor most welcome," he added.
