EMERY WHEEL BURSTS.
WORKMAN HIT BY FRAGMENTS. Through the burstr. of an emery wheel at the foundry of Messrs. A. and G. Price, Quay Street, to-day, Frank Buddie, of 3, Windmill Street, Mt. Eden, received injuries to the left ribs and chest and also to the left tpmplo, just near the eye. Mr Buddie, a married man, of about 40 was grinding at the emery wheel at 8.10 a.m., when the accident occurred, and was struck by the flying fragments He was attended by the Jt. John Ambulance and was taken to the Auckland Hospital.
