Unable to brine hJe machine oat of a BOM-dlv* when over Heewall golf eonrst, near Birkeohead, Pilot-officer Tentland, R.A.F., lamped from his aeroplane Then GOOft from the ground. The parachute did not open for 200 ft, which gare players on the course a thrill, but the airman made a safe landing. His machine was wrecked, but later he returned to hie unit at Shotwick in an aeroplane sent from the aerodrome.
