For the Little Ones.
RESULTS OF OUR COMPETITION. Dear Boys and Girls, — 1 am sure you are anxious to know the result of our little competition. Well, there were so many good letters that I have not awarded prizes, but have given certificates to quite a number of you. Now, by that means many will have a start towards getting the first book. It pleased mc to see that you all realised the noble unselfishness of old Mrs. Stevens, the match-seller, and I certainly agree with those who say that she will at least reap her reward in Heaven. Certificates have been awarded to the following boys and girls:—Leola Reed, Len Powell, Wilfrid Walrond, Gwen Hill, Nola Hipwell, Dulcie Rigden, Ruth Carson, Alice Redman, Joan Dobson, W. Harvey, Dulcie Bauman, Velma Gilpin, Rona Spinley, Allen Clear, Treey Lovigan, Allan Savory, Norma Rigby, Elsie Todd, A. Griffiths, Nance Hosken, Ron Ridling, G. Archibald. Now, don't you think that is better than giving a prize to only one boy or girl? No more news just now, but I shall 'write again next week.
