WAIKATO RACING CLUB.

ANNUAL MEETING. OUTSTANDING PEES. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. Xbe matter of outstanding fees was a topic of discussion at the annual meeting of the Waikato Racing Club. It was shown by the balance-sheet that £379 was owing for subscriptions, £504 for nominations and acceptances, and £325 under the heading or "sundries." . These amounts, the president (air. O. W. Vercoe) said, were tar in excess of what they should i>e, especially the two former items. Mr. Vercoe'added that it had been contrary to his views to "post" defaulters in the official calendar. However, it had been brought borne forcibly to him that such a step was desirable. It was unfair to the owners who paid to the dob, and the committee, to have these amounts owing, and he assured members that the committee would deal seriously with the problem. Mr. Browne, referring to the outstanding members' subscriptions, considered that, it members did not meet their liabilities when they becdme due, they should not be forwarded tickets. "V The. meeting unanimously cflried a resolution to the effect that, in future, no tickets be sent out until a member paid his subscription for the incoming year. Mr. G. W. Vercoe* was re-elected president, and Mr. F. K. Seddon vice-president. Messrs. C. Christie, W. Marsland, 3. FraserSmith, S. Tapp, O. Monektou, and S. VTyler were appointed unopposed as members of the committee.
