KILLED BY TRAIN.
BANDIT'S SWIFT END. PARIS, August 22. A. masked and armed bandit who entered the ladies' compartment in the Bentschen-Berlin train and robbed the occupants was swiftly overtaken by retribution. After having stolen all there was to be* had, the "bandit pulled the alarm cord, so that the train would slow up and facilitate his escape. As he jumped from the train, an express dashed past from the opposite direction and fatally injured him.—(A. and >~.Z.)
