PALMERSTON N., this day.
"Since his arrest accused has been writing to solicitors and seeing different ministers of religion. He has used up sheets of foolscap," said a police officer, when a Finn named Suomi was charged at Court this morning with theft of a shirt. "
Accused alleged he had prepared a statement wiheh the police failed to eend to the proper quarter. "He had been a perfect nuisance," added the police officer. Accused, who had a lengthy list prior to offences, was sent to gaol for two months.
