FELL THIRTY FEET.
YOUNG WOMAN INJURED
SLIPPED OVER CLIFF,
Injuries to her back and hip were received by Miss Hilda Murley, aged 18, of Miller Road, Point Chevalier, when she fell 32ft from a cliff to the beach on Saturday evening. Mr. S. H. Gallagher, who lives on the foreshore, eaid he heard cries from the beach about 10.45 p.m. He went out and found the girl lying on the sand unable to move. He took her to his house, and she was later taken to the hospital. Miss Murley said she wae walking through the Point Chevalier Reserve, and must have been nearer the edge than she thought.
To-day the hospital authorities say that her condition is improved.
