A MAGIC BLOTTER.
Take a piece of blotting paper and •oak it in a solution of oxalic acid. Let It dry; then soak it again. Repeat the operation a few times and yon will have » magic blotter, which will cause much •musement. Hand somebody a pen dipped in ordito ry ink, and ask him to sign hie name on a piece of paper. When he has done co, apply the blotter to the signature, "and the paper bade to him, and hie •mazeinent will be great on finding that «s signature has disappeared. The explanation, of course, is that the oxalic ■Oβ m the blotting paper complrtelv removes the ink. "
