TE PUKE, this day. A conference of delegates from the Whakatane, Taiiranga, and Opotiki Hospital Boards was held to consider the establishment of an old people's home in the Bay of Plenty. A proposal to"utilise the old hospital property in Te Puke for this purpose was estimated to cost £0000. The conference resolved to ask the Tauranga Hospital Board to prepare details of the scheme, the various boards to share the cost of furnishing the preliminary report.
