Yesterday a Yugoslav named Tony Terdia (28), foreman on a swamp drainage contract at Horotiu, nenr Hamilton, was carrying a number of detonator? in liis hand when thov suddenly exploded, blowing off his right hand and severely injuring his head. He was taken to the Waikato Hospital in a gerioul condition.
