PATHETIC SUICIDE.
I CASE OF W. S. TURNER. LOXDOX, July 0. A verdict of suicide was returned at tlic inquest on W. S. Turner, the man who posed as a general in the army and a\lio was found shot dead at Bromley. Witnesses denied that there was any threat of an exposure in connection with deceased's assumed military rank. His brother grave evidence that certain financial difficulties existed. 1 Leslie Wright, who had just .returned ' from New Zealand, said Turner had discussed with him the possibility of going ' to Victoria to start fruit-growing. The coroner remarked that he had ■ heard nothing but praise of deceased. — ; I (A. and N.Z.)
