SMALL SHOPKEEPERS.
NEW ZEALAND FEDERATION. EXECUTIVES IN FOUR CENTRES. (By Telepraph.— Spprial to "Btar."i DUNEDIN, this day. Mr. G. S. Thomson, general secretary of the New Zealand Small Shopkeepers' Protection Association, who has returned from Auckland, states that arrangements are in progress for executives to be eet up in the four centres, and a federation executive of such executives will ultimately be formed. A large number of shopkeepers have joined the association in Dunedin, and,! in spite of all opposition, Mr. Thomson is optimistic enough to believe that within six months the membership of the association will run into many thousands.
