HOCKEY TEST.
THE NEW ZEALAND TEAM,
PROPOSALS FOR THIRD TEST. (Ey Telegraph.—Special to "Star."l WELLINGTON", this day. The following is the New Zealand team to play the Indian Army team at Auckland on Saturday:—G. Fletcher (Waikato), J. Soper (Canterbury), K. Perrin (Wellington. captain), A. Mahoney (Canterbury). E. McLeod (Wellington!, IL Hore (Canterbury), E. Ilookham (Auckland). S. Bell (Canterbury). E. Watts, C. Walls and A. Burton (Auckland). The player* arc required to be in Auckland net later than Thursday morning. the referees are Messrs. 11. Hatch and 11. E. Speight. In reaard to the proposal that a third Test be held with the Indian team, it was stated at a meeting of the Management Committee that the association had been trying for some time to set the third Test played in Wellington So far nothing definite has been decided. It was resolved that the Now Zealand Association be approached, on the understanding that, should the match be played in Wellington, the paient body ehould accept all financial responsibility, but should take the first £150 accruing from the match, the remainder (if anyi to go to the Wellington Association. It was made a recommendation to the Dominion Association that the date be July IC.
