OBITUARY.
SIR ADOLPH TTCS ■ Receive. 10.30 a.m ■ LOXDOX, July 4. The death is announced of Sir A"!crip'n Tuck, head of the firm of Raphael Tuck and Co., Art Publishers. London, aged 72 years.— A. and X.Z. Cable. sir Adolph Tuck, who was created a baronet in 1910. was born in IS-54. He was the son of the late Raphael Tuck, om Highbury, England. After he entered his father's art business in London in 15(30, he inaugurated the first of a series of original Christmas card designs exhiaitions at the Dudley Gallery with Sit Coutts Lindsay, John Everett Miilais. R.A.. and Marcus Stone. R.A., as judges. In 1694 he introduced picture postcards into tiie British Empire. His heir is Major W R. Tuck, who married Mrs. Desmond Kettle, second daughter of Mr. X. Alfred N'ath.an. of Auckland.
