A lad named Sam Amo, aged 18, was killed hero on Saturday afternoon as the result of the accidental discharge of a gun. With a companion named I'uriia, he had been out rabbit, shooting and they were returning to Mercer in a boat, l'urua rowing. .\mo was sitting in the bow, with his gun which suddenly went oil', the dmrge entering his j licinf.
