MORE LICENSES GRANTED. MEETING OF COMMITTEE. By Telegraph.—Special to "Star."! WAIHI. this Jay. The adjourned meeting of tiie Ohinemuri Licensing Committee was held at Raeroa at noon to-day. Licenses were granted to the Golden Cross Hotel at VVaihi. and tiie Kerepeehi Hotel, at Kerepeehi, to take effect from to-day. Licenses were also granted to the l'aeroa Hotel, at Paero.., and the U'aikino Hotel, at Waikino. to operate from next Thursday morning. In connection with a previous appliea tion from Mrs. Montgomery for an hotel a: Waitoa. whie_ was "refused. Mr. Dn-mgoo! m.i-le application for a license for premises nearer Morrinsville. on a sire at present occupied by Mr Roles. 1- was decided to allow tbe app'ieatton to lie filed, and ro -lea! with same on its merits on \u_:;i,t 0.
