Amongst visitors present we Messrs. A. H. Page and L. J. Porta i Melbourne i. C. W. Budd (Wellington). H. Mandino (Dunedin I. W. Hoofcham (New Plymouth). R. W. Wallace (Kapier). New members elected were: Messrs C. F. Bennett, V. T. Drew. J. B. King, and •I. J. Kingston. • The speaker ot the day was the American Consul, Mr. W. F. Boyle, whose address on "' The American Consular Service" is reported in another column. At its conclusion, the thanks of the club were- on the motion of Rotarian A. B. Roberton. extended tt» the speaker.
