Xotice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Takapuna Borough Council held on MOXDAY, the 28th day of June, 1026, the following Resolution was passed and will be submitted for continuation at a Meeting of the Council to be held on FRIDAY, the 9th day of July. 1926, at 5.30 a.m., at the Council Chambers, Lake Road, Takapuna. RESOLUTION. "That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913. and its Amendments, and the Local Authorities (Empowering (Relief of Unemployment) Act, 1926, and all other powers enabling it in that behalf with the object of providing relief for unemployment, the Takapuna Borough Council doth hereby resolve to borrow the sum of Ten Thousand l'ounds (£10,000) for the purpose of carrying out the following works:— "The construction in concrete of the main road from the corner of Anzac Street and The Terrace to tbe junction of Xorthcote Road with Taharoto Road, at a rate of interest not exceeding Six Per Centum (6 • p.c.) per annum, together with a Sinking Fund of One Per Centum (1 p.e.) per annum for such period being not less than twenty years and not exceeding tbirty-six and a-half years as the Council by resolution may determine." "That for the purpose of providing Interest, Sinking Fund, and Other Charges on the said Loan of Ten Thousand Pounds (£10,000) the Council makes and levies a Special Rate of Ten Hundredths of a Penny (10-10Od) in the £ upon the ratable value of all ratable property in the Borough of Takapuna, and that such Special Rate be an Annually Recurring Rate during the currency of the Loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each year during the eniyeney of the Loan or until tbe Loan is fully paid off."
