THE FOLLY OF GAMBLING.
(To tne Editor.) Sir,—Having invested in Tatts on and off for a number of years without drawing a prize. I went to the trouble the other day of reckoning for myself what ■the odds are against any ticket drawing a prize, and I found that the odds are about 150 to 1 against any ticket drawing a prize. I do not in future propose to speculate in any kind of sweep or art union.—l am, etc.. THOROUGHLY SATISFIED.
