NO MORE PLANS WANTED.
GISBORNE HARBOUR WORKS. (By Telegr.iph.—Special to '-Star. - ') GISBORNE, this day. When Mr. George H. Lysnar withdrew his appeal from the Privy Council with regard to his plan for Gisborne Harbour, he intimated that he had another plan, greatly improved, which he intended submitting to the board very soon. This plan came up for consideration of the board at a meeting yesterday, but received short shrift, although backed up by a lengthy letter from Mr. \V. D. Lysnar, M.P., setting out the case for his brother. Xow that the work on the harbour has progressed so favourably, it is obvious that the board will be unwilling to consider any deviation from tin: original plans. The advisory committee recommen:'g tha*. the board sl:ouM not consider the plan at the present time, and should only deal with the !etter after receiving official notification of withdrawal of the appeal before the Frivy Council. The letter was formally received and the report adopted without any discussion.
