I The members of the club played a fourball best-ball bogey handicap match for a trophy, about 24 players taking part. The winners were A. M. Howden and F. H. Mingay, who finished four up. On Saturday next a one-club match will be played over 18 holes, new course, for a trophy, commencing at 12.30. Choose . partners. • EVERSLIE GOLF CLUB. A medal round was played during the week-end, and won by Fabey with a net •■ score of S3, J. Rhind 90, F. Page 94, D. Ac. Smith 07. WAIDKU CLUB. In the match play (handicap) J. Forbes beat Chrlstlanson 4 up and 3 to play, Colbeck beat McGlll 4 up tand 3 to play. In conjunction with this another round was played and won by J. Forbes with a good round of 83—7—76. The ladles of the Pupuke Golf Club played a two-club competition for a trophy presented by Mrs. Xorris. The best cards returned were:—Mrs. M E. Thompson. 103—30—73; Mrs. D. M.
