Professor H. Stewart, of Canterbury College, has been appointed tn the chair of Latin in the University of Leed* England, and will assume his new duties in October. In his new position Professor Stewart succeeds Professor B. M. Connal, a distinguished early graduate of Canterbury, College. ' r
