MAORI LAND CASE.
j The report of the action in the 'Supreme Court by the Tokerau Maori Land Board (Mr. Paterson) against the defendants, Mrs. K. T. Dwyer (Mr. W. T. Hampson) and Tony Anthony Petrie : (Mr. Luxford), which was "published some time ago, is corrected as follows: Before the case was opened for the plaintiff, Mr. Hampson made a statei ment to the conrt announcing that- he had for the past two months been tinable to get into touch with Mrs. Dwyer, i and. after various inquiries, had been I unable to ascertain-ier address. Under ' these circumstances he was unable to j carry- the matter further., on her behalf, and formally applied- for leave to withdraw from the action. :which,. was granted. The action then proceeded without Mrs. Dwyer's case being presented to tne court.
