Rev. Walter Bentley, the well-known American divine, who was connected with the famous "Little Church. Round the Corner" in New York before he took his present church at the fashipnable Washington Heights, Long Island, has arrived in Sydney 'on the way to Melbourne. Mr. Bentley was a well-known Shakespearean actor, who has played in the leading cities of Australia and the United ■ States. He was" dramatically claimed- for. the- Church by the great Phillips Brooks, and almost immediately leaped into prominence. "The Little Church Round the Corner" has been . ascociated with stage folk for many I years, and its. actor-parson. became ■ a well-known figure in New York. .Mr. Bentley is on a trip round the world, and preaches in every city he visits.
