EXHIBITION PRESENTATION.

GENERAL MANAGER HONOURED. BY INDUSTRIAL STALL-HOLDERS. During a morning tea given to stall-hoMers by the executive of tile Winter Exhibition this -morning, a pleasant incident took place when Mr. Ernest Griffin, on behalf of the stallholders in the industrial section, presented the general manager, Mr. J. Findlay, with a silver tea set. Mr. Griffin said it gave him great pleasure to perform the little ceremony on behalf of the exhibitors in the industrial section. He stated that to a large extent the success of the exhibition was due to Mr. Findlay's unb'ring efforts. The exhibitors wished to congratulate the general manager on the way he had carried out his offices. After making the presentation. Mr. Griffin expressed the hope that tbe recipient would live many years to enioy a refreshing draught from the set, which would mark the esteem in which he was held by his business friends. Concluding. Mr. Griffin said: "We wish it to be clearly understood inmaking this presentation to Mr. Findlay that we in no way depreciate the invaluable service rendered by his colleague. Mr. Stanley. the secretary of the Winter Exhibitor Mr. Findlay represents the industrial side of tbe business. Mr. Stanley the primary products and it is well known what PTeat co-operation and co-ordination exists in this orov'nee between both organisation'-." (Loud applause).
