A MONEY-SPINNER.

" NO, NO, NANETTE."

PROFITS IN BRITAIN.

LONDON, June 0.

Herbert Clayton and John Waller, who are producing ''No, no, Nanette!" at the Palace Theatre, have been awarded £.)00 damages for libel against the American publication "Variety," which alleged that, despite the play's enormous success, shareholders had received small dividends owing to the high rental and salaries and sharing terms swallowing the profits.

Plaintiffs' counsel explained that the entire capital of £14,500 had been repaid to investors within eleven weeks of the opening production in March, 1925, and by Juno 3 of this year investors had received a further £79,750. A further £20,000 was in hand, besides the profits of four touring companies.
