NEXT CONGRESS ARRANGED
SYDNEY IN 192S
(Received 10 a.m.) CHICAGO, June 17
It was officially announced on Thursday that the twenty-ninth International Eticharistic Congress will be held in Sydney in 1928.Cardinal George Mundelein, Archbishop of Chicago, who is acting as host to the International Eticharistic Congress, met the nine cardinals who arrived from New York. A huge crowd gathered at the station. Cardinal Bonzano bowed graciously to them from the observation platform. The arrival of the cardinals was greeted with steam whistles from the railroad yards, horns from the lake boats, and peels of bells from all the Catholic churches. Cardinal Mundelein embraced Cardinal Bonzano and extended a welcome ill the name of the church, the city, and of friendship. The congress will not be opened officially until June 20, but the festivities have now been informally inaugurated. It is expected the pilgrims will pay reverence to the Blessed Sacrament of the Eucharist before the congress is ended. — (A. and N.Z.)
