FIVE PEOPLE KILLED
FIRE ON U.S.A. TRAIN,
LOS ANGELES, June 17
A railway sleeping car was destroyed by lire early yesterday morning, when the train to which it was attached was crossing the Nevada desert. Five bodies were recovered from the wreck ape. So fierce were the flames that the rescuers had to wait for 12 hours for the heat to subside sufficiently to allow tl.em to approach the debris.—(A. and N.Z.i
