A miner who began work in the pit when he was 13 and has had comparatively little education in his life, has come before the British public as a poet of no mean genius. He is Robert Crawford, who was born 48 years ago in Ayrshire. .Scotland. not far from whera Robert Burns first saw tbe light. For the first time in history a moving picture has just been produced in Brazil with only insects as actors. The lilmt is based on a book by a German author, "The Bee Major," and was filmed for the most part in the jungle. It took two years Jo complete.
