Mr. D. X. MacDiarmid. a New Zealand missionary, who has been working under the t'nifecl ?\lission in the Sudan, arrived in Auckland this morning. He is accompanied liv Mrs. MacDiarmid, and has just completed a tour of the Dominion. Mr. MacDiarmid wiL spend three weeks in Auckland and a week in Whangarei before returning to tin- mission field.

.Air. Henry McGill, of Sydney, who came across to Auckland intending to go on to Vancouver, is at present in Mt. Pleasant Hospital, and will return to Australia as soon as he is fit to travel. Mrs. M.Gill, who accompanied her husband, is a. daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Winks of this city.
