EIGHT DAY'S RECEIPTS, £3682. TO-MORROW THE LAST DAY.

To-morrow will be the last day on which the public will be able to visit the Auckland Winter Exhibition. Attendances continue to keep up, the takings yesterday amounting to £402 18/0, compared with i.'i'.R) for the corresponding day last year. The total receipts for eight days this year have amounted to £3US2. against £3250 for a similar period during l!) 2.">. Between the hours of fi ii.m. aud noon to-day 2302 school children visited the exhibition. They came from 22 city, suburban, and country schools, particulars of which are as follows: Taupaki .V 2. Helensvillc 130, Riverhead 50, Waiuku 10. Vauxhall 100. Muriwai 20, Maxwell 10, Glenfield 20, Meadowbank 1.30. Waitakere 20, Mangere 190. Bayfield 2.10. Birkdalc GO, Xewton Mariste 100, Te Atatu 10. Point Chevalier 100, Onehunga Convent 100, Pukekohe 10, Takaniui 50, 'Technical School 010. During the last three mornings a total of 10,532 school children have attended the exhibition. This morning a .St. John Ambulance Association station was established at the exhibition, a part of the Press room being taken for the purpose. Two nurses and an officer are in attendance during the hours the show is open. , To-night the Caledonian Society's special dance programme will bo an added attraction to the many entertainment- provided. J Divertissements-. j A programme of divertissements by the pupils of .Miss Kileen Bercsford was given before a large crowd at the exhibition last evening. Highland dancing, the sailor's hornpipe, and a variety of jazz nnd classic dances were all greatly appreciated. Orchestral music was provided, and number of solo dances were given, Easily the best and most appreciated item during the evening was the chorus "Rainy Shore.'' led by Messrs. A. Birch and A. L'rcnliee. A ballet of girls in pretty red and black frocks danced cleverly while the leaders sting the song.
