WRONGFUL CONVERSION.

LEVIN, Thursday

At the Police Court to-day Harold Terry, aged 21 years, and David McComb, aged 20, pleaded guilty to wrongfully converting motor cars to their use.

It was stated that they made a practice of going to private garages at night, taking out cars and running them about the country: They were caught in the act by one owner.

The magistrate sentenced each man to seven days' imprisonment on each of three charges, the sentences to be cumulative. He refused a request for suppression of the names.
