WELLINGTON, Thursday

Following upon a recent notice of the Government's intention to modify, as from next August, the regulations relating to the importation of seeds of flowers, vegetables, grasses, etc., from the United States, the Minister of Agriculture now announces that, provided no further outbreak of foot and mouth disease occurs the Government proposes, at the expiration of three months, to remove the embargo against the importation of fruit, vegetables, grain, etc., from the States of California and Texas.
