GISBORNE PRECAUTIONS

GISBORNE, Thursday
On the recommendation of the health authorities, as a means of counteracting any danger of a diphtheria outbreak, the scholars in the infant classes and standards I. and 11. have been debarred from attending the town school in Gisborne for a fortnight. This step has been taken merely as a precautionary measure
