THE ANNUAL MEETING.

Recognition of the work of Sir James Gunson. as president of the Auckland Patriotic and War' Relief Association was given at the eleventh annual meeting of the association yesterday. Sir James was accorded a unanimous vote of thanks and appreciation. In accepting the recognition, the president said that there was a host of willing workers in tluj association, and he did not wish to be singled out. but would be glad to receive the vote as one of confidence in the executive.
