Tlie question of the establishment of a system for Hamilton shops was discussed at the annual meeting of the Hamilton Retailers' Association last night.

Members regarded the seheriie very favourably and felt that it would be accorded the support of all the shopkeepers.

The value of community lighting as a preventive 'of burglaries was emphasised, arid it was decided to investigate the matter and pursue the proposal further.
