COUNTY COUNCIL MEETING

The monthly meeting of the Franklin County Council took place yesterday, the chairman (Mr. 11. Wilcox) presiding. There was a full attendance of members;

Tlie Pukekohe Chamber of Commerce wrote stating that it proposed to issue a booklet descriptive of attractions of the district, the object being to encourage .further settlement and development; a subscription was requested. It was decided to allocate a sum of £30 to assist with the scheme.
