QUESTIONS IN THE HOUSE. LOXDOX, June 8. In the House of Commons Mr. Day asked would Mr. L. C. 11. S. Amery order an inquiry into the charges with regard to the Tainui ■which sailed -with migrants to New Zealand on January 8. The allegations were that she was unsuitable for that purpose, that the temporary cabins were ill-ventilated, bathing and washing facilities inadequate, no water being supplied in the cabins for four days after leaving England.
