LUDENDORFF.
WIFE SUES FOR DIVORCE
BERLIN, June S
The wife of Field-Marshal Ludendorff has commenced divorce proceedings against him. She alleges that he is overburdened by political and other activities and has treated her badly. (A. and N.Z.)
Ludendorff was regarded during the war and after as the brains and driving force of the German machine. His enemies said he was the most brilliant soldier in Etirope. He is described as a man with a giant forehead, prominent and bold, eyes of deep blue and keen of glance. fair moustache, thin lipped mouth with a disdainful curve, a strong double chin. The head breathes a lively intelligence and a clear spirituality.
