A pBOPBIETOR-S COMPLAINT,
COUNCIL'S ACTION QUESTIONED

Tlie proprietors of the only*roll-down parlour in Cbristchurch state that they have had legal advice to continue their business in the face of the City Council's decision that their license be cancelled immediately. Mr. H. Robinson, one of the partners, said that if they were prevented from doing business they would be involved in financial loss, as they had contracted to rent the premises and purchase stocks for at least three months, with an option for another three months. He s aid that two yenrs ago the council granted him a license for the same game, and that he had conducted the game for various charities, including the Lewisham Hospital bazaar in Wellington last venr.
