A NEEDED ROAD.

(To tbj fcaitor.)

Sir.—May I draw attention to the absurd way in which people have to travel from Heme Bay to Richmond Road at the present time. The dividing waste land hae been surveyed on various occasions, and there the matter ends, while cul-de-sac roads remain to point out how non-progres-sive we are. If those in authority would only provide one road across and prove that Euclid's definition of a straight line may be applied with success, when laying out thoroughfares.—l am, etc.,
