The Wellington Hockey Association has benefited to the extent of over £400 as the result of the Indian Army team's match on June 3. It wa9 reported at the last meetinjr of the executive of the association that 14.527 persons paid to see tlie match, and tlmt the gate takings amounted to £S4S. With tlie cost of the match, general expenses, the City Council's percentage (£2071. and sundries deducted, the balance in hand amounts to £414, which will be slightly increased by money from the sale of tickets nofc presented.
