FRANKTON YARDS. YESTERDAY'S PRICES. (By Telegraph.— Oivn Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company report as follow; — At the weekly stock sale at Frankton yards on Tuesday we had a full yarding of beef (principally cow and heifer), a fair yarding of store cattle and a good yarding of fat and store sheep. Pigs were yarded in the usual large numbers. Prices reached in the beef pens were easier than those reported the previous week. Medium fat steers sold to £10 10/, light £S, prime heavy cows and heifers £9 5/ to £9 10/, lighter prime £8 2/ to £8 15/. plain heavy cows £ti 2/6 to £6 17/6, well done young cows £5 10/ to £G, light young cows £4 10/ to £4 15/, unfinished "and rough £3 8/ to £4 1/, An advertised line of 2J-year Hereford Shorthorn cross empty heifers realised from £3 6/ to £4 5/. Sheep.—Competition for fat and store sheep was anything but brisk and all yarded sold at reduced rates. Prime fat shorn hoggets 24/3, fat ewes 20/, 4-tooth store wethers 22/3 to 23/6, best 2-tooth wethers 19/ to 21/3, small 16/ to 18/6. mixed age empty store-ewes 14/, 2-tooth to f.m. ewes in lamb 18/9. Pigs.—Fats sold at slightly advanced rates, while stores realised late values. Best baconers £4 to £4 6/, medium £3 12/ to £3 18/, good porkers to light baconers £3 3/ to £3 10/ medium porkers £2 10/ to £2 17/. well finished light £2 to £2 5/. stores 33/ to 38/, slips 15/ to 25/.
