The auxiliary schooner Will Watch, was dispatched for Gisborne yesterday. The Richardson steamer Awahou arrived from East Coast this morning. After discharge of her cargo at the King's wharf, she is to be withdrawn for overhaul. THE KING MALCOLM. At present unloading basic slag, the British motorship King Malcolm is expected to leave Auckland for New Plymouth on Friday next. WAITEMATA FROM 'FRISCO. According to her radio report, the Union Company's steamer Waitemata will arrive at Napier from Pacific Coast ports on Sunday next. THE CANADIAN CONQUEROR. Laden with cargo from Halifax, the Canadian Government steamer Canadian Conqueror is expected to arrive at Auckland at S o'clock to-morrow morning. THE BARON MURRAY. No wireless advice has yet been received by the New Zealand Shipping Co. from the steamer Baron Murray, which is expected to arrive at Auckland from East Canadian ports ait any time now. THE MESOPOTAMIA. Cargo operations on the steamer [Mesopotamia are expected to be completed this evening, bnt as the vessel is cleaning boilers she will not be dispatched for "Westport before the end of the week. THE HINEMOA. A projected departure from Auckland at 4 o'clock this afternoou was the Government steamer Hlnemea for Niue Island. At the Island she will load copra for Auckland, being due back at this port about June 24She will then load for Norfolk Island. MIN AT MIDNIGHT. To the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Co., the Ham Line steamer Mm is expected to arrive at Auckland from New Tork at midnight to-night. She is to unload her Auckland cargo at the Prince's wharf. MATANGI FOR OVERHAUL. To undergo overhaul and survey, the Northern Co.'s steamer Matangi is to be withdrawn from the Auckland-Tauranga service to-morrow. She will be relieved by the Manaia, whose running in the Whangarei trade will be taken up by the Ngapuhi. HERTFORD THIS EVENING. A second wireless report from the Federal Line steamer Hertford, states that she will now arrive at Auckland from Liverpool at 9 o'clock this evening. This steamer will berth to-morrow morning at the Queen'e wharf. CUMBERLAND LEAVES COLON. Cable news has been received by the Federal Co. that the Cumberland arrived at Balboa on June 3 from Auckland, and left Colon on the same date for London and West Coast of Great Britain. She sailed from Auckland on May 13. CROSSBILL FROM MAKATEA. Messrs. Henderson and Macfarlane report that the steamer Crossbill was expected to leave Makatea Island for Auckland on Friday last. This vessel, which is bringing a cargo of phosphate, is due to arrive here about June 14. MAItAMA FROM SYDNEY. „ . A fair-weather, uneventful trip from Sydney was experienced by the Union Company's steamer Marama, which arrived at Auckland this morning. The Marama, which is berthed at the Central wharf, is to sail on her return trip at 3 p.m. on Friday. ADMIRALTY TUGS. According to the "Commercial News and Shipping List," the ex-Admiralty tugs, St. Hilary, St. Mabyn. and St. Aristell. have left London for Sydney. After the war a large fleet of powerful tugs were built for the Admiralty, but many were placed on the market. Several have found their way to Commonwealth ports, the St. Giles, St. Olaves and Lindfleld (ex St. Claude) being employed in Sydney Harbour,,the St. Krth at Newcastle, while the St. Kitts is' now on her way to Adelaide. OLD SAILERS PURCHASED. " information has been received in Sydney that the sailers Star of Peru and Star of Russia have been purchased from the Alaska Packers' Association by Burns, Philp and Co., Ltd., and are intended for Australia. It is believed that the vessels have been purchased with the idea of converting them into hulks.

The Star of Peru is an Iron barque of 976 tons nett register, and was built at Sunderland in 1863 by Messrs. Pile, Hay and Co. She was formerly known as the Himalaya, and under the British flag made many voyages from the United Kingdom to Australia with general cargo. Later she was employed on the Pacific Coast in the lumber business, eventually passing into the bands of the Alaska Packers* Association, and has been running In the salmon trade ever since.

The Star of Knssia, also formerly a Britisher under the same name, is an iron ship of 1808 tons net register, and was built by Hurland and Wolff. Ltd., in 1874. ■ In conjunction with the Star of France and Star of Italy, the. Star of Russia was a frequent visitor to Australian ports for many years. AOBANGI FOE VANCOUVER. In continuation of her voyage from Sydney to Vancouver, the Union Company's R.M.M.s. Aorangi left Auckland this morning.
