SOLD TO AMERICAN. REMOVING BRITAIN TO U.S.A. (Received 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, June 6. Chantry House, Essex, built in 1367, and used in the sixteenth century as a residence by Christopher Martin, one of the Pilgrim Fathers, has been privately sold to an American for £10,000, and will be removed and re-erected in Boston.
