DAIRY CONTROL BOARD.
WHAT ARE ITS POWERS? ©OTTOT DECLINES TO SAY. COMPANIES CAN MOVE AGAIN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The reserved decision of the Supreme Court declined to give a declaratory indgment in the matter of the questions put by the Dairy Proprietary Association and the Waikato Dairy Co. Ltd., in regard to the powers of the Dairy Produce Control Board. At the conclusion of the judgment, the Chief Justice said: "Our decision places no real difficulty in the plaintiffs' way. They can obtain a decision of the Court upon any action contemplated by the board, which they claim contravenes their rights in an action claiming a declaration of right, and for injunction. They cannot, however, in such an action as at present, ottain the opinion of the Court on an interpretation of substantially all the provisions of the statute."
