TOWN BOARD NOTICE OF INTENTION TO STRIKE RATES FOR YEAR ENDING MARCH 3, 1827. Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Ellerslie Town Board in pursuance and ln esericse of the powers conferred upon it by section 51 of the Rating Act, 1025, the Local Bodies Loans Act. 1013, sections 35 and 36 of the Town Board Act, 1908, and any other Act or Amendment thereto enabling at a Special Meeting of the Board to be held In the Board Office. Pitt Street, Ellerslie, on TUESDAY, the 15th day of June, 1926, at 7.30 p.m., to make and levy the following rates: — 1. A General Rate of Fourpence (4d) in the £. 2. A Special Rate of Twopence halfpenny (2id) in the £ to provide interest and sinking fund charges on loans. 3. A Special Rate of One halfpenny (Jd) in the £ to provide tbe levy made by the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board. All the foregoing rates to be levied on the unimproved value of all ratable property within the Ellerslie Town District. The period of the rates to commence on the Ist day of April, 1926, and terminate on the 31st day of March, 1027, and become payable on the 30th day of June, 1926. 4. A Sanitary Annual Fee of Twenty-six Shillings (26/) in respect of any house or premises per pan for nightsoil removal, will be levied under section 60 of the Public Health Act. 5. Water Rates to Ordinary Consumers will be levied in accordance with section 51 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1913, and section 95, of the Rating Act, 1925.
