LONG OVERDUE REPAIRS.—for many months Stanley Street, a busy thoroughfare, ha«t been in a condition rivalling the notorious parts of the Great South Road to Papakura. The hundreds of potholes are now being filled in, and a steam roller is levelling the surface. The motorist will soon be ' able to drive' on this road without fear-of breaking springs.
